JA Business Hall of Fame Dinner Sets New Milestone

Hats off to sponsors and organizers of the 2004 Junior Achievement Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame Dinner held June 1st honoring three of our region’s most prominent business leaders – Thomas Stanfield, John Lindsay and Charles Keating.

A sold-out crowd of 1,100 people jammed into the World Trade and Convention Centre raising a record-breaking $150,000 for Junior Achievement. RSG President Mark Surrette served as Chair of the Board of Governors for the dinner this year working closely with presenting sponsor, The CCL Group and JA organizers.

Funds raised at this event will allow JA to continue to expand its programs and help students discover a passion for business. This year, more than 15,000 students in Nova Scotia participated in JA.
