Japanese Ambassador Visits Robertson

Honourary Consul General of Japan at Halifax.

During his first official trip to
Halifax since presenting his credentials to Governor
General Adrienne Clarkson on February 8, 2005, His Excellency
Sadaaki Numata, Ambassador of Japan to Canada visited
the Robertson Surrette offices this past month where
a private luncheon was held in his honor.
As Honorary Consul General for Japan at Halifax, Robertson
Surrette President, Mark Surrette was pleased to welcome
business leaders in the community who have a connection
with Japan to meet briefly with the Ambassador to exchange
views and ideas.
The group had a candid discussion about the challenges
faced by organizations looking to do business in Japan
and spoke briefly about some success stories as well.
Throughout his 2 day-visit to the city, Ambassador
Numata met with officials at Province House, City Hall,
the Japanese community, journalists and The Lieutenant
Governor.
