Robertson
Surrette Partners with HRANB
Robertson
Surrette was pleased to partner with the Human Resources
Association of New Brunswick (HRANB) in hosting a luncheon
for existing and prospective members in Bathurst recently.
With the goal of gauging the interest level of creating
a formal chapter in the area, this networking luncheon
sparked valuable discussion amongst its participants
and organizers were very pleased with the outcome.
Pierre
Battah, Senior Partner with Robertson Surrette in New
Brunswick and key organizer of the luncheon speaks positively
about the event. "I am delighted to report that
there's a high probability this will move ahead. Doug
Turner of Falconbridge, has kindly agreed to take a
leadership role in forming the local chapter,"
commented Battah. Both Battah and his Saint John colleague,
Debbie Cusack, who is also an HRANB board member, made
presentations to luncheon attendees.
In
other HRANB news, an audience of over 100 people gathered
at the Ramada Hotel in Moncton earlier this week to
kick off HRANB's winter programming. Pierre Battah was
the guest speaker presenting the topic "Resolutions
of the well-intentioned HR Professional". Battah's
presentation was most informative, and at times, even
humorous.
Following
the presentation, a lively and engaging question and
answer session took place.
