HR Leaders Honoured at ACHRA Awards

Donald Rankin of Eastlink recognized for Excellence in HR

The 5th Annual Atlantic Canada Human Resource Awards (ACHRA) went off without a hitch on May 25th naming fellow Nova Scotia HR professional, Donald Rankin, Director of HR for Eastlink as the esteemed winner of the Excellence in Human Resources Award.

Donald’s contribution to his craft is what ultimately set him apart.  As a highly principled, dedicated, loyal individual, Donald’s tireless efforts towards making a difference have propelled him throughout his career, benefiting the people and organizations he has worked with profoundly. In his own words: “I’m not a 50-goal scorer, I’m the guy digging in the corners just trying to help out”. 

Donald takes no greater joy than helping someone along with their career.  He has championed HR throughout the years, long before it had the credibility it now enjoys.  This passion has inspired others to follow in Donald’s footprints and make HR their chosen career path.  Congratulations Donald.
