High-Performance HR Leader Joins Robertson Surrette

Halifax, NS – March 1, 2007 Robertson Surrette, Atlantic Canada's leading talent management firm announced today the appointment of Mario G. Patenaude as vice president. President, Mark Surrette and vice presidents and business partners Jeff Forbes and Kevin Stoddart, are very pleased with the appointment and look forward to his contribution to the clients of Robertson Surrette and the firm overall.

His previous success leading high performance teams and organizations through challenge and change has given him ample opportunity to see first hand results of what works and what doesn't.

Patenaude's pragmatic approach to achieving success sets clients at ease from the moment they first meet him. “It's all about building a solid leadership foundation to start,” said Patenaude. “We have a tremendous opportunity to raise the bar and set some new industry standards. During his 25-year career in human resources and communications, Patenaude has held several executive positions in leading organizations including Canada Post Corporation, High Liner Foods, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Bell Mobility, DMR Consulting, Spar Aerospace and the Irving Group. From Paris to Melbourne, Montreal, New York, Lunenburg and Saint John – over the years he has gained a tremendous understanding and appreciation of global business and talent issues.

Based in Halifax, Patenaude took up the reins of his new role in mid-February.
