2007 HRANS Conference
Hats off to the Organizing Committee
of the 2007 HRANS Conference, May 23-25 in Halifax
at the World Trade Convention Center and Pier 21.
Our very own Angela MacDonald,
Conference Co-Chair and fellow Co-Chair Mary Ellen
Tingley-MacLean along with a talented team of 10 individuals
volunteered on the conference committee. Robertson
Surrette’s Stephen Pamenter attracted exhibitors
as the Trade Show Chair. Together the committee
members pulled off a highly successful event.
Over 450 people attended the conference
events. Interspersed throughout the programming
of the 3-day conference were various education sessions,
presentations, and luncheons. Mark Surrette delivered
a presentation to a captive audiance on the "Free
Agent Theory" and Robertson Surrette proudly sponsored
the Mark David Jones Luncheon.
The conference attracted over 30
top speakers including keynote speakers David Ulrich,
Professor of Business at the University of Michigan,
Mark David Jones, acclaimed business consultant, and
Dr. Linda Duxbury, leading workplace health researcher.
Survey results revealed that it was
one of the best conferences in HRANS history.
