As a recruitment professional, Karen is committed to ensuring we find the right fit for every opportunity. She began her career in management and human resources for a large manufacturing organization where she gained valuable experience as a Human Resource Coordinator in Northern British Columbia. Given the high demand for skilled tradespeople, she has developed a strong background in recruitment and retention.
Born and raised in Newfoundland, Karen graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce Co-operative Honors degree concentrating in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations. She is also working towards the Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation.
A dedicated volunteer, Karen has sat on the Campaign Cabinet for the United Way and has led the planning committee for a number of community trade shows. Happy to have returned to Eastern Canada, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a passion for nutrition and fitness.
